When will Bightline High-Speed Rail Connect Orlando to Miami?

The Bightline High-Speed Rail will connect commuters and visitors between Miami and Orlando, at speeds up to 125 miles an hour. But when? The first segment of the high-speed inter-city railway line became operational in January 2018 connecting Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach.  For Orlando, looks like a few things are still being worked out before the 235 mile extension between Orlando and Miami will be active. With a reported cost over three billion dollars, the project is being implemented by All Aboard Florida (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Florida East Coast Industries).

According to Railway Technology Brightline means big business for Florida, here are some of the key players in the move to connect Miami and Orlando:
