New additions include a jaw-dropping number showing off the sheer strength and technical prowess of four of Orlando Ballet’s talented female dancers. Orlando Ballet School will also take center stage this production as a trio of students, academy students and trainees ranging from 13 to 17 years old, bring down the house with an energy-packed dance full of exciting jumps and turns.

In preparation for the spooky ballet, Central Floridians who donate blood at any OneBlood donation between now and November 3 will receive an exclusive offer to attend “Vampire’s Ball.” Additionally, if patrons donate blood on October 7, 14 or 21, they will be entered to win a free pair of tickets to “Vampire’s Ball.” To find the nearest OneBlood location, visit www.OneBlood.org.

“‘Vampire’s Ball’ is rich in thrills and campiness, with an approachable blend of strong classical dancing alongside edgy, contemporary movement. It’s a fan favorite, but it’s also a fun first introduction for ballet newcomers,” said artistic director, Robert Hill. “We have several fantastic new dancers about to make their debut with Orlando Ballet and audiences will not be disappointed. Backing them up are five incredible Orlando Ballet School dancers that make up the two casts of the children’s dance. I created these roles because our students are performing at such an exceptional level, they deserve the opportunity to gain valuable performance experience alongside our professional company.”
